The other day I mentioned on Facebook about my goal to get some pictures of myself and each of my kids this week leading up to Mother’s Day.  I am always the one behind the camera so I challenged myself to get out the tripod and camera remote and get IN the picture with the kids.  Surprisingly, all 3 kids did very well and willingly participated.  They even wanted to go back for more…unheard of in this family!

If you are rarely/never in the pictures, make it a point to get yourself on the other side of the camera for once.  You don’t need a tripod and remote, just a wiling set of hands to hold your camera. You are an important member of your family too.  Your kids will treasure having pictures with you and you will too. Have fun!
