These images are from part of an extended family session. At this session, there were [grand]parents, their 3 grown children, and the children of the grown children. When I photograph this kind of session, I usually get some shots of all of the family together, and then shots of the smaller families, and then some candid/interacting shots and in-between moments. Then I get shots of the sibling groups, then the parents and and then some more of everyone with different set ups.
This was a cold day but these kids were so sweet and managed to have a great session. The little girl on the right in the picture below put that scarf on just before I shot this set. When she did, I remember telling her she looked so pretty …and how the scarf brought out the blue in her lips! Yeah, it was that cold.
