I had a great time taking pictures of this little girl on her birthday. She loves to dress up like Disney princesses (who doesn’t?) and her hairdos are even named as the princess who wears that style. For example: The Belle hairstyle would be half up/half down ‘do.
Getting ready in the morning with a little girl is quite different than trying to get ready with 2 little boys. The Infamous Jiffy Cornbread Mix Incident of 2010 has made me scared to leave anyone out of sight while taking shower. The boys are a little older, but I still rarely attempt a shower while they are in the house and conscious unless Cody is home. These days I take my shower while the boys are at school. Annabelle hangs out in the bathroom, brushes her teeth, tries on my shoes, gets into the little box of old jewelry I have for her in the cabinet. She stands on a chair next to me and digs in my makeup bag as I put on my makeup. I loved the moment we were having putting on lipstick together so snapped a self-timer picture yesterday to capture her sweetness.

I went to Houston last weekend to visit my good friend from high school and we ended up having an impromptu photo session. Good thing I had my camera!
Sweet, sweet girls. The younger one invited me to dinner with her family (told ya they are sweet!). I couldn’t go, I already had plans with my husband. The girls were getting to choose the restaurant since they did such a good job having their photos taken.
